About Us

CodeBridge Turkiye was formally launched in May 2026 as a structured student-led initiative to expand access to technology education for high school students in underserved regions of Turkiye. The initiative builds on Mina Ilhan’s earlier informal volunteer tutoring experience, through which she supported students by sharing academic and digital learning resources. CodeBridge Turkiye aims to transform this individual effort into a more organized, measurable, and sustainable education program through free online workshops, partner teachers, volunteer mentors, and student mini-projects.

Founder

Mina Ilhan is an 11th-grade IB Diploma Programme student at TED Ankara College with a strong interest in computer science, artificial intelligence, data science, and human-centered technology. After completing the Pearson BTEC International Level Information Technology programme with distinction and gaining experience in the IT department of a manufacturing company, Mina became interested in how digital systems can solve practical problems in real environments. Through CodeBridge Turkiye, she aims to make introductory technology education more accessible to students who may not have the same opportunities to explore coding, AI, and digital problem-solving.

Vision/Mission

CodeBridge Türkiye is a student-led initiative dedicated to providing free introductory AI literacy, coding, and digital skills workshops to high school students in underserved regions of Türkiye. Our primary mission is to bridge the digital divide by equipping youth with the essential tools, confidence, and foundational tech skills needed to thrive safely and successfully in an increasingly digital world."

,

We believe that access to high-quality technology education should never be determined by a student’s geographical location, school funding, or socioeconomic background. Our vision is a future where every young mind in Türkiye has equal access to digital literacy. We aim to empower students to transition from being mere consumers of technology to becoming confident, ethical, and creative problem-solvers who can leverage digital solutions to address real-world challenges in their own communities."
